DanceQuest presents an annual dance recital every June.  In order to participate, dancers must be registered for classes January through June. 

Each class will learn one dance to perform in the show, and all students will learn the dance within regular class time.  Every student must remain in the same class day/time from January through June, as each class learns a different dance with a different costume.

2012 Recital Information

Costume Measuring Day:  All recital students must be measured for costumes.  Students enrolled in the Fall/Winter session will be measured in class, and any students new or returning to DanceQuest for the Winter session must attend Costume Measuring Day.  Once dancers are measured, a parent signature and full payment are due by Costume Measuring Day.

Dress Rehearsal / Picture Day: Takes place at Romeoville High School the day before the recital.  Each class will be assigned a time to arrive, picture time, and rehearsal time on stage.  Dancers are only required to stay for their assigned time that day.  Photography and video are allowed during dress rehearsal.

Recital Day:  There will be 2 shows on recital day.  Each class will perform in one of the shows.  Dancers will arrive one hour before show time, and must stay through the entire show (show lasts about 2 hours).  All dancers must remain backstage for the entirety of the show.  No dancers are allowed in the audience or for early dismissal.  Photography and video are not allowed during recitals.
 

• All recital participants are required to pay a Recital Fee of $20 at the time of registration for the winter session.
• Costume fees are done by Costume Measuring Day.  Child small, medium, and large costumes are $50, and child extra large, adult small, medium, and large are $55.
• Recital tickets go on sale in April, and are $7 per ticket
• Sportography will take professional group and individual photos on dress rehearsal day.  Prices vary depending on the picture package you choose.
• The recitals will be professionally filmed and DVDs will be available for purchase on recital day.
• Recital t-shirts are available for purchase.  Orders are due in April.
• Recital fees, costume fees, ticket purchases, photo orders, and DVD orders are non-refundable.

The 2012 DanceQuest Recital is scheduled for Saturday, June 16th at Romeoville High School.  There will be two shows (tentatively) at 11am and 3pm.  Each class will perform in one of these shows.  Costume Measuring Day is Saturday, January 7th at DanceQuest from 9am-1pm.  If your child is not registered in the Fall / Winter session you must come to Costume Measuring Day any time between 9am-1pm to get measured and pay for your costume.  Dress Rehearsal / Picture Day is Friday, June 15th at Romeoville High School.  Full information packets will be handed out in class in early March, which will include dress rehearsal schedules, show order, ticket order form, t-shirt order form, photo release waivers, and other related documents.
